My Personal Statement

I am an introvert person but I always wish that I could perform for my audience, stand on the stage with the light spotting on me and hear the claps from the audience. When I was in primary school, I still remember that the teacher ask for the main character of the play. I just not brave enough to raise my hand and the role has been taken. My role in that play was being a tree. I was very happy to act as a tree although I am not the main character.

After a few years, being an actress was a dream for me. Until I entered UCSI University, I met a friend who always helps me. She asked what I am going to do after graduate in UCSI and I always said ‘I don’t know’. Until one day I saw the flyer she gave me and I read the course description, I feel interested to performing again. I tell myself if I am not going to do this, I will regret for my life. Therefore, I decide to talk to my parents and tell them that I wanted to change course. I feel that it is so different when I have goal in my life.

In the performing arts course, I will learn about skills of acting, directing, stage managing, lighting, and the use of video tool. This diploma course takes 2 years to complete and half a year of internship. This course covers two field of study which includes the theater and filmmaking foundation. I will experience on-stage, behind-the-scenes, in front of the camera and behind the camera.

I apply for the performing arts course because I want to perform and I want to learn more than what I know. I want to entertain people and I know we will easily change our mood after watching some movies. For myself, I will watch comedy movies and shows if I was in bad mood. I usually do that to myself and I find that my mood becomes better although my problem has not solved yet. Sometimes when I feel that I wanted to cry but my tears just could not fall, I will watch some sad movies so that my tears will fall and I will feel better after falling tears.

I think this performing arts course is suitable for me because I had tried to make a short clip myself using some basic video maker software. Therefore I hope that I can learn more complicated and more professional short movies making.

I started my ballet lesson and piano lesson since young. I have Royal Academy of Dance certificate and The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music certificate. Although the performing arts course do not have dance and music subjects but I believe that both of this skills will help me to improve my confidence when I perform ballet on stage.

I was a prefect in my high school and the head of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. I represent my high school in the MSSMKL Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition. I won a few medals in the competition. I was also an Editorial Board member in my high school.

After I graduate in the performing arts course, I will continue my studies aboard. I will major in acting. I wanted to study aboard because I want to explore more out of my hometown. I also wanted to have different experience in different place with different culture.

These are things that individuals can do to help the environment. Firstly, people can switch off all the lights and fans in the house when there is no body using it. This will help to save energy and electricity. Secondly, people can save the trees by using less tissues. For example, I will split my tissue paper into 3 pieces to use. Usually I will use tissue to wipe my mouth after meal; therefore I think a thin piece of tissue is enough. Thirdly, one can bathe quickly and use less water so that it will save water and energy. Lastly, planting trees outside the house can also help to save the environment. For instance, I will not cut the tree outside my house so that the temperature in my house will be lower and I can save energy for not using the air-conditional. Today's wastage is tomorrows shortage so start now saving the earth for tomorrow before it is too late.

Many people have strong feelings about the value of television, especially now that programmes are available through satellite and over the Internet. There are those who suggest that increased access to these programmes does more harm than good. However, there are those who insist that it is a good thing.

There are three problems with wide access to television programmes. Firstly, there are people (especially children) have access to programmes with unsuitable content.Violent horror and action movies can influence on immature. Secondly, more access to television encourages adult and children to watch more television, so there is less time for hobbies or family. Also, there is wasting time instead of educating yourself. For example, teenagers prefer sitting in front of television than reading or going to the theater. Finally, the programmes available may not culturally appropriate.

On the other hand, there are a lot of advantages to watching television. In the first place, a huge choice of programmes is available - something for every interest, for example sport, music, film, documentary channels. In addition, television programmes in other languages , for example English, can support language. For instance, movies with subtitles help me to improve reading and listening. Finally, it can be the only entertainment for disabled people. For example, people which not able to move can gain an opportunity to introduce with world.

In conclusion, I believe that, despite the disadvantages, access to television is essential to our life. The advantages of watching television are far greater than disadvantages. More over, we can not imagine our life without television.

One of the Astro package is for learning. It has five channels such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Discovery Science, History Channel and Animal Planet. These five channels are in English. With these five channels, we can learn not only English but also knowledge and science. On the other hand, the other channel in Astro may have violent action that is not suitable for children. There is a service for parents to lock the channel that is not suitable for children. Kids today are intelligent. To them who born in this technology world, switching channel and unlocked password are very simple for them. Not only children but also young adult may have access to programmes with unsuitable content.

There are a lot of programmes is available in satellite and Internet television. We can find our favorite music, sports, movies and documentary channels in there. The most common Internet television, Youtube, has all kind of videos. People around the world share their favorite music videos, sports, movies and documentary video through Youtube. The comments under each of the video also give us a variety of ideas and opinion of the video. Most of the people in the world especially in the city spend most of their time with television and I believe that every house will have at least a television. Spending too much time on satellite and Internet television will cause less time for outdoor activities. This will cause addiction to television and will cause health problem because lack of exercise.

We learn new words very quickly from television. For English movies, we can improve vocabulary and sound of the words by listening. Although we can learn faster by watching television every day, but some of the programmes may not be culturally appropriate. For example, some of the English movies have sex scene and violent scene had been censored.

In my opinion, I think satellite and Internet television is good for me because I gain knowledge from the television. I also agree that television have disadvantages but it is depends on the person himself to gain knowledge from television or not.

I want to apply to interior architecture.I am really interested in this course and i am motivated about this.

Main reason to apply in this course is related to art and painting.In interior architecture I need to imagine

some spaces and painting can help me in this process.I find some wonderful points in this major,which they

I have worked in three different countries, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and England. First of all, I finished my high school where i qualified as a mechanic, then, I went to the Egyptian Army for two and half years, where I played Handball for the Army team. Also, in Egypt after I finished the Army I worked as a driver for an English construction company. my second job was a driver at an English Oil company. Then, I got a job in Saudi Arabia to work as a sales man for an American company. After that, I went back to Egypt to work as a buyer for a French company. Finally, in December 1998 I went to England. I started there with some small jobs, then I got a job at First Direct Bank in Leeds, from 1999 until 2010.

Ambitions about futuer

First of all,I need to get 6.5 band in Ilets exam because I want to apply to some Canadian and Australian universities( with high rank). I wish my application form will be accepted in these universities. Second,I hope my visa will be get issued in these countries because it is a hard process for Iranian. If I can not gain these I have another possibilities,like apply to UM university in Malaysia. Nowadays,getting a job recognized as a great desire for majority of society.It's obvious that people want to progress in the field of their works.So,there are many people who believed in hard working .Thirty-five hours is issued by government as the standard working hours per week.As soon as people had heard About this decission,lots of agreements and disagreements appeard among them.
First reason for agreement is,working more than mentioned hours make more money,so will mean to have better qualities and facilities that can add more prestige to this list.Beside that,there are some poor people who have to work so hard to earn enough money for a simple lifestyle.
In other hand,working hard maybe lead to face people with some problems.Logically,the body of every person after several years will encounter with considerable diseases,like terrible backache,migraine and so on.

I really love to learn and know about so many languages in the world, and I can say I know Little of so many languages but its not enough because I don't know about the grammar which is really important, but I think for starting its not too bad.

It is true that people have been struggling for along time to keep their health good. however, I disagree that there is little you can do to get a good health.

To get a good health let's try to know what the body needs in order to be healthy. The body needs a limited calories each day and what the body needs is 1500 calories, so we have to get a table to show us how much each kind of food has calories. It isn't necessary to do exercise to get a good health because your daily activety burn a lot of calories. This instution has helped many Malaysian citizen. Malaysia's rubber and palm oil production is the biggest in the world. PROTON is the only national car industiry in Malaysia which make me proud of its.It because many country in the world don't have their own national car industries.

Before I has forgetten, didn't you know about Malaysia languanges? Malaysia has many languanges, for the example Malay,Tamil,Chinise,English and many more(I cannot tell all because to a lot and I don't know, hehe). Therefore, Malaysia has many culture and religous.I don't know how to explain more.You just come to Malaysia(fantastic) and you will amaze with its.

Iran the bride of middle east

The republic Islamic of Iran is in Middle East Asia. Iran has borders such as Iraq , Turkey , Afghanistan , Pakistan ,Bahrain and the UAE. One interesting thing about Iran is that it has the most neighbors in all over the world. It has a long coastline on the Caspian sea and persian golf seashore and also it has a famous river called Arvand that located in the south of the country.
Although the official language is Persian (Farsi) , some people speak Turkish and Arabic.

People form all over the world come to Iran for several attractions such as milad tower which is the most enormous transmission tower in the middle east. Although Tehran is the capital city of Iran, Shiraz is the most absorbing city in Iran. It has lots of historical places such as Persepolis , Pasargad , Sadie tomb and Hafezie tomb.

Iran has good natural resources such as coal , gas and oil. The economy of Iran is based on exporting the same natural resources. Farming , tourism and traditional handcrafted such as carpet are the other important parts of Iran's economy.

Iran had a revaluation in 1978, before that my country was ruled by king. Tehran is the capital city since one hundred years ago. Most of the people are Muslim .However,some people have another religions as,Zoroastrian, Christian and Jewish.We have different races also like Turkaman, Kurd and Lore so, each races have their own language and cloths. Although Persian is the official language, people can speak in Kurdish, Turkish.

It is located in middle east of Asia. Its border to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey and Iraq. In geographical situation is that it has the Caspian Sea in the north and the Persian Golf in the south and surrounded by the Alborz and the Zagros mountains. Natural resources of my country are Oil and Gas.Iran has variety of weather,four seasons in one day.

Iran has so many attractions that if we want to describe all of them this task will come so long. The most historical cities are, Tehran, Shiraz,Isfahan, Hamedan and etc.In south of Tehran Golestan palace has unique design then you can see wonderful monument in shiraz that is called Persepolis which is for 2500 years ago and can show that how creative Iranian were and si o se pol was made 500 years ago which has fantastic architect, and so many other beautiful places.

Iran is large country in Asia.Tehran is the capital city in Iran and the second city is Esfahan.Esfahan is a middle of Iran.However,Tehran is a North city in Iran.It has many neighbours,including Iraq,Pakestan,UAE,Afghanestan,Tajikestan and etc.


Esfahan has a many beautiful places and scenery.For example Siose pol and Khajoo bridge.And Menarjonboon is a very beautiful place for visit.Many people thinks the Zayande rood is wet during a year,although just is wet six mounths in a year.Iran has many mountains and rivers,three big seas,two islannd,two deserts,beautiful road and etc.In Iran has specially scenery at the North.Iran is conect with three big seas including, the Persian-Gulf ,Caspian and Oman.


Oficial language in Iran is persian,but it has six another languages,including Torkey,Kurdy,Arabic and etc.

Egypt is a country in the north of Africa. It has the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Red Sea to the east, Lybia to the west, and Sudan to the south. The natural resources are Oil, Gas and Cotton, as known all over the World the Egyptian cotton is the best in the world.

Egypt is a big country full of lots of attractions. The Pyramids in Cairo are one of the seven wonders of the world. The Nile is the longest river in the world. The Egyptian museum in Cairo, it is the place where you go to see lots of mummies, and old of Egyptian history things.

The main relagion is Aslam and 10% are christian. The Egyptian revolution started in 1919 to free the country from the English colonistion .The first language is Arabic, but some people speak English and French.

Learning secondary languages are really awful

In the case of register for master degree I had to pass IELTS exam which is an international english test.after studying hard to learn english I found it too complicated, so I got rid of(withdrew) it.There were a lot of dificulties about learning english.As a matter of fact,at first I was confused by idioms.second,I had a lot of problems with grammatical lessons.in addition,even I couldn't use simple sentences in speaking fluently.In spite of the fact that I've had a hard challenges,I was unabled to pass the exam.

Esfahan and Shiraz are the most famous cities.Alighapoo in Esfahan is the wonderful palace and 33pol and pole Khajoo can show you iranian were very creative and clever in 500 years ago.Perspolis in Shiraz is very famous in the world ,and if you go to Louvre musem in Paris you can see a part of this monument that related to about 2500 years ago.

In north of Tehran, mountain the whole of the winter is covered by snow and in summer is a good place for grass skiing.

The majority of people are Muslim.However,some of them are Zoroastrian,Christin and Jewish.Iran is a unique country because has variety weathers and cultures and religions.Although people in Iran have different ideas and cultures,they live together in a peaceful atmosphere.

Iran is a wonderful country,but the most of people in all around the world have a bad imagination about my country.I think they don' know Iran and Iranian.

I find difficult learn a new language .You always speak to your mother tong and if you want to speak to a new language usually you transfer this to your mother tong and it cause your speaking seems strange.if you want to learn a new language and speak fluently you should do a lot of practices.the grammar is important,but it's not everything.you can't speak professional,although you know grammar perfectly.So you should consider about some vocabularies,daily conversations,a lot of words and something like this if you want learn a new language and speak accurately.

My name is Tanya, I`m Russian. I`m married and I have one son. My husband works in an international company , because of this reason we are in Malaysia. My parents live in Russia with my older sister. I love my family very much!

I have many hobbies, they are keeping me busy. My favourite sport is horse ridding. Also I like ridding motorbike and swimming. All of my hobbies make my life more colourful.

One interesting thing about me that I like adventures. When I lived in Moscow, I jumped with parachute from plane three times. At the last time I forgot to open parachute. I was very lucky, because parachute opened automatically.

I`m studying at BC for improving my English. Also I can meet people from different country. I really like it!

To make it even more difficult to learn a new language, its not just the above, its the way some languages are written. Some language you write it from left to right, some right to left and some top to bottom.

I used to study German when I was at primary school, but I can’t understand it. Nowadays, I only can read and remember a few words. I couldn’t hear or read in German, because in Kyrgyzstan we didn’t use to have foreign TV channels and my teacher was non-Germany-speaking. As Mary said you can’t study languages unless you hear or read.

I didn’t find English and German difficult grammars, but when I learn them I understood that many thinks I have to just memorize.

And finally it needs the time and money, however, if you want to study new language very hard you can find the time and money.

My name is Tynara. I’m from Kyrgyzstan, which located in Central Asia and borders Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China. I work in Kuala Lumpur. I have been living in Malaysia for three years. I live here with my family: my husband, son and daughter.

I don’t need to pass IELTS exam for graduate University, but when I finish whole course at the British Council, I will try to pass this exam to check a level of my English. English is good opportunity for me to introduce to culture of many countries and make friends. So, last year I decided to study English and started from Elementary. Unfortunately, when you work full time (like me), it’s sometime hard to combine work with study.

Currently, I don’t have a time for some hobby. But I used to design women’s clothe and sew it myself. I like going out with my family and visit popular attractions. I hate housework, but I have to do it and I dislike computer games, because for me this is wasting a time. I’m not interested in shopping.
