Things to consider when renting a house or a flat

Before renting a house or a flat you need to consider things. The most important thing is, the location of the house or the flat, is it in town or outside the town. Is it near to the train station, the bus station, and how far is it from your work or your University?

Second, the size of the house or the flat. How many rooms do you need? Usually it depends on how many children you have or how many people will be living there?

Third, the cost, how much money will you be paying for rent? Some people have a budget for the rent they will be paying, but when you are looking to rent, you always find the rent a bit higher than your budget!

Finally, the neighbours, some people like to find out who lives next door! Usually people with family and children, like to look for neighbours with family and children too. If it's a students lookin to rent, they will be happy to live next door to students too.

  1. This is good - well done! A big improvement! You have some good ideas and have given interesting additional information.

What you have written is what people say so when it is in a written form you need to be careful with the punctuation. For example, 'The most important thing is the location of the house or flat. Is it in or out of town?'

Maybe you could add a concluding sentence?

    Good work here!

    See you next week!
