Biography - Kimi Raikkonen

Kimi Raikkonen, who was born in Espoo, Finland in 1979, became one of the prominent Formula One (F1) drivers in the world. He started participating in F1 on 2001 and belonged to F1 Sauber Team. He moved to Switzerland, where gave more private space and made him feeling at home, shortly his started career in F1. In 2002 – 2006, he had a five years contract with McLaren Mercedes Team. Unfortunately, they cannot provide him a splendid car to fight for world champion title. As the result, he joined Ferrari in 2007, which the most illustrious named in F1. As expected, he won the world champion title at the end of the season and it was just one point ahead Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, who both are the world champions also. He was left from F1 in the end of 2009 and participating in World Rally, which gives him much more enjoyment. The Finn made so much remarkable records in F1, such as attained 10 fastest lap’s record in one season by twice.

    Well done! Good job here. A few changes possible,

    '....Switzerland, where HE GOT more private space and FELT at home, shortly AFTER??? HE started HIS career in F1.'

    Can you think of a synonym for 'splendid' that is better for a racing car?

    'was left from F1 in the end of 2009 and participating in World Rally'. Can you look again at the tenses?

    Do you have any more information? Is he married? Where does he live now? Is he successful at rally driving?
