Ambiga Sreenevasan - Lily

In the recent years, Ambiga Sreenevasan had rose to popularity for her religious tolerance. Sreenevasan, who was born in 1956, is a Malaysian lawyer graduated from University of Exeter in 1979. She became the 23rd President of the Malaysian Bar Council in 2007, where she is the second female president to lead in the organization history. Her contribution to the society has lead her to received her "Datukship" in 2008 from the Malaysian government and the International Women of Courage award in 2009 from Hilary Clinton, who is the ex-first lady of USA.Recently, Sreenevasan lead a citizen movement, which is named as Bersih 2.0, for a free and fair election which 20,000 people from all races attended.She holds many high ranking positions and is now the Director of Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center. Sreenevasan is describe as a "high-powered, high-profile advocate for good governace, democracy and human right".

  1. Good summary of professional life and summing up sentence. But what about the other details about her? Is she married? What are her personal interests?

    'had rose' - can you change this tense?

    In your second sentence, where should you add 'who' ?

    'lead', think about this tenses: past, present perfect?

    (Clinton is the US Secretary of State - pretty important in her own right!!)
