Child Prodigy is define as a child with a skill set or an ability that is incredibly accomplished, far beyond their years (Quart 2006). These abilities are mainly in quantitative fields such as maths, chess and music and less in qualitative displines whereabilities are difficult to measure. However, the latter is not impossible. According to Allisa Quart, who was a prodigy, a gifted or prodigy child, which is created and deflated will have a distance feeling of failure.
Ambitious paredts, whose overcultivated their babies in worm may be not only a waste of money but positively harmful. Quart in her book,"Hothouse Kids: The Dillema of the Gifted Child (Penguin Press)", explained this phenomena comprehensively. The book is a good reference for parents about how to nurture talent gently, without damaging it.
In my opinion, some people are born intelligent and some have to acquire it. All children must be treated equally important regardless their intelengence. High IQ, prodigy or intelligent child is part of a human lifecycle. Inteligent child will not ensure someone will be successful person in life. Hapiness and wisdom come from heart not brain.
