Trio who tried to cheat their way to 1M

An army major Charles Ingram and his wife, Diana together with a lecturer,Tecwen Whittock came up to cheat in the quiz show, "Who Wants To be A Millionaire?", scheming to win a million. The lecturer was sitting one meter away from them and coughed as a signal for giving the answers. Unfortunately it was suspected by the programme makers who later called to the police before the cheque was handed in. Three of them were sentences to jail with fine for about 10'000 pounds each.

Do you think the judgement was fair? I do think that it was really very fair. Everyone love money and would strive hard to achieve his or her goal. Some would try on their luck by participating on TV show or any other games and competitions. It is not fair to people who did not win but always try to be fair, participating, working or playing whole-heartedly without cheating. Hence, people who cheat should be punished.

However, if you are smart enough to cheat, would you do so? Why and why not.? It would be tempting if I'm pretty sure that I will be winning. Somehow, I won't do that in order to avoid for being in a deep shit. Never forget about this--There are always consequences that you need to bear of for what you have done.
